A Nurturing Space for Every Child

Every Little Sense is devoted to creating a welcoming sensory space in Melton Mowbray, where children of all abilities can grow in confidence and joy. Our vision is to break down barriers with compassionate care and multi-sensory support.

The sensory play space

The play space is thoughtfully designed to engage and support the five senses – sight, sound, touch, taste and smell – offering a balance of stimulation and calm.

  • Sensory movement and exploration activities.
  • Visual, tactile and auditory sensory resources.
  • Calming scents and sensory-friendly materials.
  • A low-noise, low-light environmanet.
  • Flexible, child-led play with no pressure to participate.
  • SEN-friendly layout with clear zones and quiet spaces.

Sessions are structured to feel unhurried and relaxed, allowing children to explore at their own pace.

The cafe area

Alongside the play space, our café offers refreshments for parents and carer.

  • Barista-style coffee and hot drinks.
  • Cakes and light snacks.
  • Allergy awareness and clear food information.
  • Food purchased on-site only, ensuring safety and hygiene.

The café is designed to compliment the sensory space while keeping children’s safety and wellbeing at the centre.

SEN & Inclusive Approach

  • Dedicated SEN-only sessions outside of school hours.
  • Environment adapted to meet a wide range of sensory needs.
  • Individual needs considered to ensure sessions are safe, appropriate and supportive.
  • Clear routines, visual supports and gentle transitions.
  • Staff trained in inclusive and neurodiversity-affirming practice.
  • Families are welcomed without judgement or expectation.

0 to 3 months: no charge 
4 to 8 months: £2.50
9 months to 1 year: £4.00
2 years plus: £6.00 

Specific SEND sessions are £8.
These sessions benefit from more specialist resources and a smaller group of children per session. We will do our best to accommodate SEND sessions if they are required on a different day or time to better suits your child’s needs.
